Estimativa da distribuição temporo-espacial de material em suspensão nas águas do reservatório de manso-mt a partir de imagens landsat e dados de campo

Résumé

The good use and the conservation of the natural resources necessarily require the access of
the society to the informations of the water resources quality. In this way, the geotechnologies
can give important contribution by reducing the costs and allowing higher
frequency of informations on the quality of the superficial waters of great hydrological bodies
such as hydroelectric reservoirs. The objective of this work is to map the distribution of the
suspended solids in the superficial waters of the Manso reservoir (located in the state of Mato
Grosso), using remote sensing data. To do so, we used in-situ collected limnological datas (10
stations) and Landsat images for the same date. After the geometrical and atmospheric
corrections on the images 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 we extracted spectral informations for each of the
10 lake's stations. Next we carried out analyses of Pearson correlation between the averages
of the reflectance's values for each point and the values of the limnological parameters for
both images of the dry and the rainy season. Finally, we produced maps of spatial distribution
of the suspended solids matter in the lake for the two seasons. The results showed the interest
of remote sensing data to monitor the space-temporal variation of the concentration of this
material in the Manso reservoir's waters.
