Understanding the Canadian-American Border

Abstract : Many would argue today that Canada-United States relations have not been so cool in a very long time. Students of political science, at least in Canada if not in the United States, cut their teeth on the subject matter of bilateral relations And while it is fashionable for each generation to view corss-border relations as different from what had gone before, a more long-term historical view shows that "plus ça change, plus c'est la meme chose".
