Les camps de réfugiés palestiniens au Proche-Orient, entre norme du droit au retour et intégration socioéconomique

Abstract : This article analyzes the political and socioeconomic stakes pertaining to the evolution of the Palestinian refugee camps' physical infrastructure. These 58 camps are spread over five areas of the Near East: the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. In so doing the article raises the issue of the camps' integration within their urban surroundings and highlights the intricate interactions that have developed over time between the camp dwellers and the state stakeholders involved in the camps' management: the local authorities and UNRWA.
