De l'édition de presse papier à l'édition de presse sur Internet : émergence d'un nouveau bien culturel et hybridation des modèles socio-économiques de production

Abstract : the production and dissemination on the Internet of current news is not the mere fact of press enterprises. Many players, taking advantage of web or born with it, offer them competitive informative content. This competition focuses as much on market shares as on business models and professional practices in the sector.

This paper therefore proposes to take stock, in so far as this is possible, on the changes underway in the area of the media on the Internet: relationships between free information and paid services, varied ways of promoting information, tracking of the readers, fame of the editors, integration of the readers in the information's production process.

We have built on the results of a research conducted in the field of sports information on the Internet with the theoretical framework approach of cultural industries developed in information science and communication.
