Genre et territoire dans la géographie française : un silence qui interroge

Abstract : A central report is essential : French geography (and not French-speaking person !) always felt reluctant to take into account the "genrées" approaches of space and/or territory. What can one read behind such a positioning ? Only some tracks of reflexion are stated here; the interrogations remain in one period when the social request (Regions, States, an d International bodies) stongly expresses the pressing need to regard as relevant and operational the category "gender"
