Action publique et changements d'échelles: les nouvelles focales du politique

Abstract : Erosion of the power of States, multilevel governance, rising power of cities and towns are all illustrations of the increasing complexity of spigots and overlays of responsibilities among levels of government intervention. Between recentralization, sectorization or specialization of territories, the extreme diversity of situations is not easily interpretable guidance on the meaning of the changes taking place. One thing is certain: they make public policy "to the test" change of scale. Different work together in this book shows how these skills travel between Europe, the national states, regions and cities are changing the form and content of public action today. They act as a point on the origin of these changes and the effects arising therefrom.
