Foucault, Sade et les Lumières.

Abstract : This paper is about the uses that Foucault proposes in Sade's works. This uses bring an indirect light on the ambiguous status that the Enlightenment receives in Foucault ‘s thought. We can bring together Sade's literary figure of transgression, associated to writing, to an “outside” though too, and figure of Sade as a “sergeant of sex” who introduces a disciplinary eroticism, coming with an instrumental rationality.
