Les restes aviaires des niveaux aziliens de la grotte-abri du Moulin (Troubat, Hautes-Pyrénées): Paléoenvironnement et modalités d'exploitation

Abstract : This article concerns the investigation of human utilisation of birds at the end of the Tardiglacial. The Azilian levels of Moulin rockshelter (Troubat), have revealed an assemblage of avian remaisn made up of 15 species. These species collectively indicate a cool-cold climate and an open environment. The assemblage is essentially anthropogenic in nature. It is likely that Azilian hunter-gatheres exploited diverse environments to procure processed indicating that both meat and bone were targeted as resources.
