Emergences territoriales et nouveau rapport du politique à l'espace

Abstract : In social geography, to work on politics means trying to understand a very singular group. The Elected member is the main producer of the territory. He is profoundly marked by territorial ideology. But he is also perfectly integrated into the networks of the society. A recent serie of laws incite to the revival of new territories. How shows himself the tensions between both models, territory and network? Politics can go out of the classic territorial model? Let us consider three innovations : the will to adapt of the city to the mobility, the city networks which open towards the discontinuity and the advices of development of the new local structures. These topics represent signs for a different functioning. However, one notes as well importance of territorial ideology. Politics acts according to this ideology and builds images inked in the territory.
