La construction dynamique du sens

Abstract : The central role of polysemy in languages forces us to consider the construction of the meaning of statements as a dynamic process, in which the meaning of each unit is determined by the statement in which it is contained, while, at the same time, it contributes to the construction of the whole meaning. This article is devoted to examining the modelling of this double movement, and to showing how a model constructed within the mathematical scope of the theory of dynamic systems, and its implementation using some connectionist networks, enables to some extent, an account of the complexity of this phenomenon to be given.
