EVOLUTION DU FRANÇAIS MEDIEVAL AU FRANÇAIS MODERNE

Abstract : The objective of this article is to recall the evolution of the forms /aucun/from medieval French to modern French. One observes in particular their morphology (distribution feminin/masculin; singular/plural), their syntax (distribution between determinants vs pronouns; types of morphemes preceding /aucun/; grammatical functions) and their semantical and referential behavior frame (the restriction of the uses in negative context and the expression of the partition).
