Paupérisation des petits viticulteurs du Chili

Abstract : In a few years, Chilean vineyard's surface has doubled. This exceptional progress hastaken place thanks to a radical transformation of production systems and commercial trends, with veryimportant investments. From now on Chile produces middle range wines for exportation. This evolutionmarginalizes even more the small producers (there are still many left), which are more and moreconfined to simple grape production. The cooperative system, relatively modest, didn't resist thetransformations imposed by dictatorship. It has practically disappeared.
