Enregistrements-réponses des variations climatiques du Pléistocène supérieur et de l'Holocène sur le littoral de Casablanca (Maroc).

Abstract : In the Casablanca area, along the Moroccan atlantic coastline, three units have recorded regional responses to the upper Pleistocene-Holocene global climatic changes. The Dar Bou Azza Formation refers to fossiliferous intertidal deposits. Isoleucine epimerisation ratios (AIle/Ile) of an order of 0.550 measured in Patella conform to the O aminostratigraphic group previously established and relate the formation to the last interglacial (isotopic stage 5) high marine stand refered as the Ouljian Stage. The Lahlalfa Continental Complex is the result of sedimentary and pedogenetic processes during the isotopic stages 4 to 2 period. The Reddad Ben Ali Formation consists of intertidal deposits and characterizes a Holocene high marine stand dated by 14C at 3 700-3 500 years BP.
