The MSL34180 hypogeum tomb consists of three tufa blocks, the exterior cladding of which has been painted in imitation alabaster. The study of paints was complicated by the presence of the water table. This required the installation of a pumping system and the implementation of a specific study method for this wet environment. The detailed observation of the painted claddings made it possible to highlight the gestures and the organization of the work of the painters.
