Manifeste: Pour plus d'Interactions entre Informatique, Sciences Humaines et Sociales et Arts

Computer science, human and social sciences and arts have often been considered as independent fields of investigations without much interaction. We strive to demonstrate that this common belief is erroneous and that it is possible to consider fruitful cross-fertilizations between these fields of investigations. We illustrate it by means of examples taken from the history of computer science and by means of contemporary research questions. Thereby, we suggest a list of non exhaustive research lines at the interface of computer science and these other fields of investigations. N.B.: This manifest has been written in perspective of the workshop "data sciences and human and social sciences" organized at the computer science laboratory IRISA in Rennes (France) on the 26th of November 2015 (http://dss.irisa.fr/english-workshops/). This manifest is intended to be extended, completed or even amended by the participants of this workshop as well as anybody who is interested in this topic. L'informatique, les sciences humaines et sociales (SHS) et les arts ont souvent été perçus comme des champs d'investigation indépendants et sans grande interaction possible. Nous essayons de montrer dans cette note que cette idée est erronée et qu'il est possible d'envisager des relations fructueuses entre ces disciplines. Nous nous appuyons pour cela sur des exemples tirés de l'histoire de l'informatique et sur des questions de recherche contemporaines. Ce faisant, nous suggérons une liste non exhaustive de pistes de recherche à l'interface entre l'informatique et ces disciplines. N.B.: Ce manifeste a été rédigé dans la perspective de l'atelier intitulé "science des données et sciences humaines et sociales'' organisé à l'IRISA à Rennes (France) le 26 novembre 2015 (http://dss.irisa.fr/english-workshops/). Il est destiné à être complété, étendu voire amendé par les participants de cet atelier et par quiconque est intéressé par cette thématique de recherche.
