Recent attention borne by social sciences disciplines of art and the urban project, given to major urbanization processes and to the matamorphosis of lifestyles indicates mutations in the contemponary public space characterized by fragmentation, if not ruptures. The paper shows how the sensitive exploration of public spaces is the grounds, pragmatically, for research and training, and how the question of the impermanence of space properties, the sustainability qualities of urbanity can be an answer.
