Le dispositif GEODE pour évaluer l'ouverture d'un environnement éducatif

Abstract : How to assess how open an educational environment is? It is to this specific question that the author of this article endeavours to contribute. The notion of openness is mainly tackled by her with a pragmatic outlook within which she proposes an educational environment openness program called GEODE [Grille d'Evaluation de l'Ouverture D'un Environnement éducatif ]. She first demonstrates that a solid theoretical basis underpins the program that enables characterising and defining openness in learning. As an illustration, the author presents the use of the program in an empirical research she conducted in a continuing education distance-learning set-up.
