Gérer l'interface entre ingénierie, didactique, pédagogie et dispositifs ouverts

Abstract : We acted as linguists interested in didactics and specialists in the use of ICT to analyse two language learning environments we had an opportunity to closely follow. Both can be labelled as open learning systems relying on self directed learning. We point out the importance of the self access learning centre where learners come and the disappearance of the traditional group. Several relevant elements are analysed such as tutoring and coaching of learners, changes in the relationship to time (wasting and finding time), choosing appropriate materials (reference tools or teaching materials). We will argue in favour of a more deliberate implication of didactics so as to better approach open learning situations and self directed learning.
