La fonction cognitive des modèles conceptuels

Abstract : Most information system development methods require elaboration of conceptual models during the analysis and design phases. These conceptual models have different functions, including a cognitive one. Conceptual design relies on implicit assumptions about the representation of reality. After examining these hypotheses, we will discuss them, focusing on the subject's central place in the knowledge process. This epistemic position will help us to explain some difficulties concerning practical use of conceptual models and will lead us to propose some advice about it.
