Abstract : The presence of many foreigners coming from middle and eastean Europe, the stationing of American soldiers for NATO, as well as the strong authority of the communist wave in the public opinion , make the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle a favoured ground to learn how the Cold War is fel by the Lorraine people.
