Géographie-cités is a french Research Unit of the CNRS which is engaged in research combining theoretical and epistemological approaches, qualitative and quantitative methods, and empirical and comparative procedures.

Since 2003, Géographie-cités develops an open archives collection. It contains more than 400 full text freely accessibles.
