The Office of National Archives, which is part of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, is working on several projects for the dissemination of the Ibero-American documentary heritage. Among these, we bring attention in this article to the Ibero-American Migratory Movements Portal. This project was initiated in 2010, with the aim of rescuing and giving access to archival documents related to Spanish emigration to Ibero-America from the late 19th to the mid-20th centuries. The portal contains a database of Spanish migrants, with 76.224 records and 244.780 pictures, as of October 2013, a number that will increase through new cooperation agreements between archives. This project has a strong collaborative approach and contributes to a wider dissemination of Ibero-American archives through the Internet.

La Subdirección General de los Archivos Estatales del Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte de España lleva a cabo varios proyectos de difusión del patrimonio documental iberoamericano. Entre ellos, destacamos en este artículo el Portal de Movimientos Migratorios Iberoamericanos. Este proyecto inició su andadura en el año 2010, con la misión de rescatar y difundir los documentos de archivo referidos a la emigración española a Iberoamérica entre finales del siglo XIX y mediados del XX. Este portal contiene una base de datos de emigrantes españoles que, hasta octubre de 2013, cuenta con 76.224 registros y 244.780 imágenes, aunque prevé incrementarse con nuevos convenios de cooperación entre archivos. Este proyecto tiene un marcado carácter cooperativo y contribuye a la difusión por Internet de los archivos iberoamericanos.
