Digital skills' portfolio : formalizing the informal in computer learning. An ethnography of distance education engineers

Résumé

A long run fieldwork in a distance education institution allows us to understand a major shift in evaluation process: the raise of formalization. The example of C2i, a French certificate, leads us to a discussion about the consequences in learning strategies triggered by this evolution : personal reflection, variety of experiences an propensity to explain are currently part of informal learning
