This study is part of a doctoral thesis on the thermal environment in urban green areas in a Mediterranean climate. The objective of this paper is to show how urban spaces are subjected to thermal influences of planting trees according to their percentage of foliage, the configuration of the plant development (separations between the trees and buildings and vegetation cover) and the orientation of alignments of trees.
