Journal lumineux et thermique d'un espace adaptable - Prédiction et analyse des ambiances

This paper presents the development of a representational tool that expresses the diversity of physical ambiances generated by an adaptive space. The research argues that adaptive spaces should provide comfort for wider varieties of interactions with the environment, thus generating a higher level of complexity in the promulgation of ambiances with architects. A highly modifiable adaptive structure, specially designed to explore recognized architectural typologies, was built to monitor ambiances. Results are organised into a diary of physical ambiances, a table that simplifies and promotes a quantitative and qualitative discussion on the potential of adaptability in architecture.
