Our research has focused on the mobilization of technological resources in professional interactions, particularly in a call centre of bike rental. I drew on the three disciplines of Ethnomethodology, Conversation Analysis and Workplace Studies. In this article, we intend to explain the evolution of the corpus originally recorded in a particular call centre for our project and the one we analysed, thus accounting for practical problems which emerged and were made relevant by participants in their interactions. During data transcription, we noticed that participants report or orally reformulate informations that are written on the screen of the terminal, using introductory verbs such as "he said that", common in reported speech in the spoken language. We then defined a specific object of analysis around this observation for which we have established a collection of extracts using a computerized tool of requests available on the CLAPI platform. The work that we present here allow us to discuss on the one hand computer retrieval of excerpts from a given form, and on the other hand the link between the results obtained with this type of research (quantitative approach) and our expectations for an analysis in terms of action (qualitative approach).
