L'organisation spatiale du Monde Indien, vingt cinq ans d'évolution
Résumé
An analytical point of view has been adopted so as to show how different forces acting in the Indian area affect each element of its spatial organisation. The main types of evolution taken into account are: an economic growth slow until the nineteen nineties before changing to the present high growth, a slowing demographic growth, the impacts of liberal globalisation, the diffusion of new technologies, and the reinforcement of "communalist" movements. These evolutions have different impacts on the geopolitical framework, on urban networks, on the different types of space, such as the crescent with high densities or peripheric areas, geometrically central or situated on the fringes.
On adopte une démarche analytique pour montrer comment différentes forces agissant dans l'espace indien affectent chacun des éléments de son organisation spatiale. Les grandes évolutions retenues sont : une croissance économique lente jusqu'aux années 1990, et accélérée ensuite, une croissance démographique ralentie, les impacts de la mondialisation libérale, de la diffusion des nouvelles technologies, et de la montée des mouvements "communalistes". Ces évolutions affectent différemment les cadres d'exercice du pouvoir, les trames urbaines, et différents types d'espaces comme le croissant des fortes densités, les périphéries géométriquement centrales ou situées sur les bordures.
